By Libertylens Post

July 4, 2024–Miki Sudo, a dental hygiene student from Florida, has made history by winning her 10th title at the annual Nathan's Famous Fourth of July hot dog eating contest. Sudo consumed an astonishing 51 hot dogs in 10 minutes, setting a new world record for women and solidifying her position as one of the greatest competitive eaters of all time.

Sudo's impressive performance earned her the coveted pink belt and a spot in the record books. Her win was met with cheers from the crowd gathered at Coney Island's Nathan's Famous flagship restaurant.

The 38-year-old defending champion out-ate 13 competitors from around the world, including her closest rival, Mayoi Ebihara of Japan, who came in second with 37 hot dogs consumed.

Sudo's victory has set up a possible scenario where the women's champ out-eats the men's winner, a feat that would be a first in the contest's history.

"I'm just happy to call this mine for another year," Sudo said after her win.
